DART Combo Ticket, $16 This ticket includes a one-time round-trip on DART and fair admission. It’s $16, and is ONLY available at Kroger.

Dr Pepper $3 Tuesdays Fair admission is just $3 when you bring an empty Dr Pepper can. Only valid Tuesdays during the fair.

Kroger 3 for $2 Wednesdays Fair admission is just $2 when you bring 3 cans of food that will be donated to area food banks. Only valid Wednesdays during the fair.

The State Fair has it's own website that lists all the attractions and you can purchase tickets straight from them. Also, you can google - frugal in fort worth - for discounts and a list of what days are cheaper than others, etc

The best price you can get for just regular admission (other than the free and "discount days" that someone else posted) is by going to McDonald's and picking up some of their tray liners-- there are $4 off coupons for adults and free child admission coupons on them. The state fair website does let you purchase them online, but you have to get them mailed to you-- you can not just print them out or pick them up at will call.

You can also get tickets at some of the supermarkets - I think they're listed on the Fair website as well.

No. You can find discounts from certain grocery stores and special days advertised by the State Fair.

It does coast a bunch to go but it is worth going at least once if you've never been. We drop a bundle when we go but we always enjoy ourselves.

As far as I know, no. The state fair website does not even allow you to do that unless you are going to let them mail the tickets to you. We purchased our tickets at Kroger and got a dollar off. I know it's not much, but every little bit can help.
