I have a friend will have a three year old, an 18 month old, and twin newborns in February. She's trying to figure out how to transport the littlest babies. Moms of big families, did you get two infant carriers? Did you get a snap and go thing for them? TIA!

What can I do next?

I have twins and two infant carriers ARE neccessary... Graco has a great double stroller; I recommend the one that is front and back rather than side by side b/c the side by sides do not allow the seats to snap in. I know they make a stroller similar for triplets; I would recomment that so she can put the 18 mo old in there too!

If you have any other questions, please let me know... Twins are amazing and a lot easier than people lead you to believe! Mine are 16 weeks and sleeping 12 hours at night already... BIGGEST KEY... FEED AT THE SAME TIME - SAME SCHEDULE IS HIGHLY IMPORTANT...

I have had several friends that have multiple children. My best advice is to find a MOM (mother's of multiples) group. They will be your best source of information on such things. I hope she has a really good support system with that many children so young. Best wishes to her and her expanding family.

I did the snap n' go and loved it for my twins but of course, I didn't have a toddler either so that makes for a more challenging situation....

You'll need two infant carrier car seats. I have seen snap and go for twins, and it's bulky but works. You only use it a few months. Ours are 2, 3 and a newborn. The Sunshine Kids Radian XT (birth and up to 80 lbs.) fits 3 carseats across the back row, as does the Cocorro car seat (birth to 40 lbs). It's much easier to snap them into a stroller, though. But, if seats in the car is an issue, look into those car seats.

Hi Kerri,

I had twin boys in May and I also have a three year old. We got the Contours stroller form Babies rus, Target also has it...:) We love it right now we are using our carriers on it and later we can put the seats back in it...this way we did not have to buy a snap and go too! :)

We love it! It is red and black too!

My twins are now 4. We had the Graco stroller with seats that snap in and also snap in to the car. I had to use the stroller everywhere. It is a must. Maybe the 18month old could ride in a carrier on your back? Good luck. You are blessed.
