Tummy Shaper?

I bought a Hanes brand body shaper that is very similar to Spanx, but much less expensive. I found it at the Leggs Hanes Bali outlet store. They had several styles to try on.

The one I got doesn't allow for any "spillover", it just makes me look about 2 dress sizes smaller and much flatter and firmer. It comes up to just under my bra line and down to my thighs, but not very far down. And there's no "poofing out" where it ends.

If the Hanes one isn't an option, try Spanx. You'll be amazed.

Mama, you EARNED that body!!! You grew humans in there. Losing our shape and adding pounds is an effect of that! We need to be accepting of ourselves the way we are and love our bodies for the amazing things they do (grow babies, produce milk to nourishes our babies, etc.) Embrace your body the way it is now and if anyone has anything to say about it ask the how many babies they grew in their bellies! You are beautiful and so it that amazing body that gave life!

Target sells a shaper that's made by spanx, but called something different. They've got everything... bring that dress to the store and try stuff on!

I second the Hanes brand body shaper! I used those too after both of my other kids ... they sell them at Walgreens downtown in Chicago so I didn't even have to make special trips. I got one that goes from bottom of my bra to mid-thigh. Much cheaper than Spanx (which my mom used for my and my sister's weddings). Have a great time!

I went and tried the spanx type control garments and for me, it made it all much better. I tried these kind of bike short thing that go up under the boobs (so hot, especially in beige-not!) and really, they did alot. I havent bought one yet, I think I want more of a brief thing as opposed to the shorts, but they were great. My gf that came with me, told me to layer it with a girdle wrap (with hook & eyes) which gave even greater control, but.. too much beige ugly weird elastic going on with 2 garments. I asked the salesgirl for help, which was good, I wouldnt of grabbed the right size or item without her help.

I'm looking for something like this too so I'll see what others say. I've lost the weight but have extra skin - yuk!

I feel ya! We're going to the beach in a few weeks, and my middle section depresses me. i am FINE every where else! I found a bathing suit thats pretty good at hiding it, but yeah the side veiw :( and the worse part is that my friend and her family decided to join us and she has a perfectly flat belly that I'd like to slap her for. I am dreading sitting on the beach with the skinny b*t** LOL LOL kidding kidding

Hi, I can totally relate. I noticed you mention you want to wear a slink dress....I bought a body magic and I totally LOVE it. However because it is a full body garment you cannot wear a spaghetti strap sleeveless, halter or low back outfit....BUT you can wear a sleeveless/tank top dress/shirt....but it did cost a bit much.

The price mamas pay for beauty...lol...but like the other mama said, we earned our curves. :)

Spanx! I LOVE them! Mine goes from the knee to under the boobs and works GREAT!
