So What Happened?

We created our own tshirts and they were beautiful! We walked at the Rose Bowl yesterday with thousands of others all praying and believing that our support and dollars will help researchers find a cure for this mysterious illness.

GOOD LUCK M.! Keep up the awareness!!! I don't have a connection, but you could order them via www.cafepress.com although you may have already bought the shirts. Hope you find a great sources.

May I suggest you seek out www.FoggyRock.com and/or www.cafemom.com (autism groups) where they have a larger autism community who might have a larger response to your request.

Have you thought about doing iron-ons? You can buy a package of 10 transfers at Joanns or Michaels, and then print whatever design you want on them in an inkjet printer.

Hello M.
I am glad to hear you are supporting Autism Awareness month. I will contact a few people I know that are in the t-shirt business to see if they could make your t-shirts. I also would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the company I work for (Discovery Toys). DT has an amazing support for children with Autism and we carry wonderful educational toys.
Discovery Toys has teamed up with the WORLD’S LARGEST PUZZLE FOR AUTISM AWARENESS CAMPAIGN. Celebrities Against Autism, along with primary sponsors Discovery Toys and Flagstar Bank, has embarked on a mission to assemble the World’s Largest Puzzle to build global awareness and acceptance for children with autism. Everyone, from individuals to families to community groups to corporations, can participate in the record-breaking endeavor by purchasing puzzle pieces for a $1.00 donation per piece. As the donations are collected, the pieces will be added to the World’s Largest Puzzle, with over a million pieces, gradually revealing an original image that will keep everyone guessing until the very end. The funds raised will be used to generate media exposure for Autism and to support families in need with children with Autism.
Please help me by informing people of this amazing campaign and be a part of making history! Thank you for your support. If you have any question or wish to make a donation you make visit my website or contact me at ###-###-####.

M.,

Hi! We also have an autistic child, Jonathan - 8 yr. old. Can you please tell us about the Rose Bowl event on the 26th. Is it for autism?

Since you have a computer, if you also have a color printer, you can purchase iron-on transfers that you print up on your computer then iron onto your shirts. Transfers usually come in packs of about 4 or 5 sheets per pack and you can normally get them at Office Depot, Office Max or Staples stores. Call your local store(s) to check. Good Luck!!
