We need to have 4 trees (one is gigantic) and some bushes removed. Has anyone used contractors in or near Evanston that they had a good experience with?

I used a company called The Tree Guy. Did an excellent job and was priced right. Pulled info from Angie's List and had an A average. Based in Oak Park and not sure how far they travel.

GO to your Township they should be able to help you out with half of the expences. Even if its on your property try it it work for me and there were taller than my house good luck.
We just had all of our trees (all taller than the house, some had to be climbed b/c there was no access for the cherry picker) trimmed by Sunrise Tree Care in Evanston and they did a really great job. For how much work they did it was really quite reasonable. Good luck!
