Travelers Insurance - What Is Your Experience?

I'm currently using USAA for my auto and homeowners insurance. I got a quote the other day from an insurance agent for Travelers Insurance. It's a slightly lower premium that offers us a little bit better deductable and a little better coverage overall.
Sounds like an easy decision to switch :)
My main concern is that I really like the great service I get at USAA and I trust them as a company.
Has anyone ever dealt with Travelers Insurance or tried to collect on a claim? I'd love to hear both good and bad experiences with Travelers or advice from anyone who's left USAA.
Thank you!
D.

I have used their medical insurance before and it was awesome. Get on the internet and do some checking with the Better Business Bureau and see if you can find some reviews of their service. Good Luck. and Take care.

I worked for personal injury attorneys about 7 years ago and found that USAA was wonderful to deal with when it came time to settle claims and they were very fair. Traveler's wasn't bad, but not nearly as good as USAA. My husband works for a major insurance company and he even said that USAA is great company. Also check into see how your insurance rates will go up if you have an accident or file a home owners claim. They both may raise your rates if you get into an accident, but USAA may not raise them as high since you have been with them for a while.
