Hi V.,

I saw an ad in the paper for this, they had an event in April I think...but I missed it :( Anyway there is another one coming up in October, it might be worth it to check out their website. Good Luck!

I've been selling at Outrageous Outgrowns for several years. This is a good venue for your nearly new and new items as it gets very good foot traffic, but it takes a LOT of time to tag and price your items. Registration for new sellers opens next moth.

There are also several consignment stores in area. Google Kid's clothing used to find the one closest to you. Some are less picky than others about small stains, etc, but you'll also get less money.

You can also try Craigslist and Pennysaver if you want to field the inquiries yourself. You could sell a box of playclothes for X amount instead of individual items.

I gave my stuff away to a friend that is going a 3 day breast cancer walk. She is doing rummage sales to raise the money she will be donating. I know that you wanted to make some money yourself but I thought that I would suggest it anyway because you would be giving to such a good cause. Also it is stress free! Just have her pick up your "junk" and your done! Win win.

You could also put the stuff up on craigslist, I have seen posts for "lots of baby clothes, $5 a bag" and stuff like that. Then they come to you and buy it if they like it.

Good luck! Viva La Spring Cleaning!

Hello
What kind of toys do you have to get rid of? I would be interested in them.
Also I have a seven month old son who wears 18mo-2year old clothes already. You have any big boy clothes?

Hi V.,
I LOVE the Kidz Shoppe, in San Jose on Union Avenue. Its a consignment shop for kids used clothing, shoes, books, toys, gear, accessories, videos, and gifts. GREAT store. I've sold many used baby clothes through them. They even have a rack for "new with tags" stuff, and I find great bargains for my two kids.

Call and make an appt. to bring your clothes in. They will go through them, assign a price, and give you a cut of the proceeds. I love to help these stores stay in business.

Try a site called GumdropSwap (http://gumdropswap.com). You can swap from anywhere in the US by sending the clothes your kids outgrow to this kids boutique in CT. An option if you want to get some value out of all the money you spent instead of flat out donating. As long your things are in good condition they don't turn down anything because of brand, size or season. They take everything unlike resale store like Once Upon a Child! They give you points to shop on the website and send the clothes that fit your kids. It's great if you don't have time, patience or know how to do consignment, Ebay, craigslist, tag sale, etc.
