Uh Oh-you might want to go see your Ped. I think what you are describing is thrush-very painful too. Has the poor baby been fussy-lost her appetite?
Aw poor baby if that's what it is-my twins ended up with that mess just a few weeks after they were born. The doctor gave me a "cocktail" of some sort but I can't remember what all was in it. I want to say like Mylanta and something else but I can't remember it was six years ago!

Hi, take baby to Pediatrician. It could be Thrust that will need baby meds and can get painful if left untreated.

Sometimes the tongue keeps germs on it. It has to be cleaned with something like a knife as a toothbrush won't do. Try watching The Doctors on tv.

Is it white? It could be oral thrush. It is easily gone with a medication a doctor can give you. You should have it looked at.

sounds like thrush-which is similar to if not the same as yeast. better take her to ped. At least your not breast feeding-or you'd get it too and its more painful than childbirth!
