Mamas & Papas -

Any suggestions for a good pair of slippers for our 15 month old DS? Our apt is roasting hot, but my parents, where he spends much of his time, is cool, and they've got granite floors. Slippers should be the sort he'll have a hard time pulling off.

Thanks a bunch.

There is only one slipper to ever buy. Hannah Anderson "Swedish Moccasin". They are a bit pricey but they are awesome.

Robeez, all the way. They stay on, they last and they're cute.

IME, the phrase "toddler slippers" is kind of an oxymoron!

Better to go with grippy socks.

Never have found a pair of slippers that stayed on, or were wanted by my kid.

But we're just not "slipper people."

I second skidders, and dont get the type from the cheaper stores like Walmart or Target. I made that mistake and they make my kids feet REEK like 40 year old men, who threw their dirty sweaty socks in a gym back for a week. Skidders are the best.

Robeez are great, though a bit pricey. Target has a brand called Ministar for around 15.00 that are just as nice. My 8 month old and almost 2 year old girls are wearing theirs right now :)

Try Skidders (http://skidders.com/). They are the best for toddlers! Like a sock with a grippy rubber sole.

F.:

Baby Gap has slippers and non-slid socks. It's been a long time since I've had a toddler in the house but that's where I got mine. We also shopped at Old Navy and Wal-Mart.

I personally think the non-skid socks will work better than slippers for a toddler.
