To All the People Named Kate...(I Have Seen a Lot on Here)

My daughter is Kate Victoria. Named after her two grandmothers (and as my MIL says "two strong women, Queen Katherine of Aragon and Queen Victoria of England"). Gotta say, it fits her perfectly! We call her Katie, Katie-bug, KK, Katerina, Cutie-patootie, Katie-kate and sometimes even Kate.

Our daughter is Lily Kathryn (we sometimes call her Lily Kate) and I think Kathryn Lily sounds beautiful too! I also know a Katherine Elizabeth (she goes by Katie).

I'm not a Kate but I have two friends who are and they're Katherine Renee and Kathleen Marie.

My dad calls me Kate, even though I go by K.. My full name is Katherine Charline

My middle name is Kathryn, after one of my grandmothers. I have passed on the tradition and given my daughter the same middle name. Odd thing is she has two middle names, Kathryn and Rose. Her first is Abigail. My dh's sister is also named Katie and her middle name is Elizabeth. Hope this helps. I love the name. It's a good one that means "pure". Good luck <3
