Has anyone had experience with ATT U-verse TV and internet services? I'm thinking of switching from Time Warner cable to them. I just want to make sure its worth the trouble. (I will get a $200 rebate though.)

What can I do next?

ATT Uverse is AWFUL - DON'T DO IT. I can't stress enough how horrible the service is. We have been so disappointed with it. Some of our channels scramble for no reason, the cable and internet go out without warning, and the technician even told me that the technology is so new that they are still figuring out the bugs. Seems to me they should have had all of the "bugs" figured out before they started selling it. PLEASE trust me - you will regret Uverse.

Uverse is wonderful! We had it for a short while after it became available where we just moved from. We were very disappointed when we moved here to MO and it was not available. I signed up with ATT just so that when it does become available we can switch. I don't know if you are familiar with a DVR which you can record without VCR tapes. I had never had one before but it's wonderul. With the uverse though you can record up to 4 different shows while watching something different. Not the case with most DVR's from what I understand. There were alot of other cool features that I didn't really use too often but the quality was excellent from the other satellite we had and as soon as it's available in our area I'm signing up again for it. It seems that the price was a little more but we loved it and feel that with the DVR package we have now, we've taken a huge step backwards and look forward to having it again. Hope that helps.

We have att for our home phone, internet and satelite. We have had no problems at all! I have never had time warner so I don't know how to compare it, but we are happy with att. You can pay online which is nice for me (not sure if you can with time warner). Good luck. C.

We've had U-Verse for a few months now and are very happy... there is the occassional scramble, but we've never had the internet go out on us, and I don't notice a lot of pop-ups. The DVR feature is the best... and you can set it from your computer (or any computer).

Since we signed up, we've noticed at least 5 other neighbors that have gotten it.

Never had Time Warner, so I can't compare.

Good luck-
Alyssa

I have the AT&T now and on the 15th I will be switching over to time warner road runner for my internet. I already have the time warner t.v. and love it. I was wanting to know the same about switching to road runner. I'm sorry this is not helping you, I was wanting to know too. I feel my AT&T internet is so slow and I get alot of pop-ups. Time warner told me this would not happen with them and I'm saving money by switching over my internet and phone with time warner.
