I am wondering if anyone knows of a great company with great prices that do Tile and Grout cleaning. I have been trying to do it by hand but it is taking forever and it is driving me nuts!

What can I do next?

I have used Stanley Steamer in the past and they seem to be very reasonable. I would call them and have them come give you a quote.

Good Luck!

Hi M.-

Ditto to what Ericka said. I took her advice and bought the grout paint. It worked like a charm. My grout was not sealed when we moved into our home and with a 3 year old and a dog my floors looked horrible. I tried having a service clean them and it did nothing! I bought the grout paint in a dark color and it took me two days to do myself but it was worth it!! You will need a few small toothbrushes to do it and some patience but I highly reccomend it! Good luck!

I HAVE THE EASY (and cheap) CURE!

This is time consuming (1 weekend) but wonderful and will really last. They sell a product called "Grout Paint" at Home Depot that also seals. I chose the antique white and applied to all of my grout lines with a toothbrush. You need to be careful to wipe it off of the tile (I just used a damp cloth).

They look better than new and repel liquid (I know with two toddlers and a Lab). When I did my fireplace I was very surprised at how it looked brighter that the original! It has been a year now and still looks perfect!!

Good Luck!

I own a professiona carpet and floor cleaning company. We can come out, perform a free test on your tile so you can see the results and give you a down to the penny price quote. The only thing about "painting" the grout - is it's not a good idea to apply it over dirt. It will chip and wear off and look worse in the long run. Tile is a permanent floor - you want to care for it properly. We've seen too many homes ruin their tile with applying products and especially wax. Go to our website to find out more www.LoveYourCarpets.com. Love to help you!

If you haven't hired a cleaner yet, I HIGHLY recommend Turbo-Tec Tile & Grout Cleaning! They did an excellent job cleaning our kitchen & dinette ceramic tile and grout and then sealed the grout at a very reasonable price. I checked prcing first at Stanley Steamer and Dalworth but Turbo-Tec's pricing was about half of theirs. Neal, the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable and also comes out to do the work. He made our floor look like new again. I can't say enough good things about his service and he also steam cleans my carpet every 6 months since I have pets. He is at ###-###-#### or www.theturbotec.com.
