TIKE - "Toddler Information Kept for Emergencies"

My name is K. and I'm a member of an insurance womens association that is going to start a new community service for the entire State of Oregon. This bright neon green sticker provides vital information regarding a child, to emergency personnel in cases where an automobile crash disables the adult(s) riding in the car. The sticker is placed on the back of a child safety/booster seat. This location keeps the sticker clean and out of view of passers-by. In the event of a crash, the TIKE sticker information may expedite crucial child medical assistance. These potentially life-saving stickers are provided free of charge. If you are interested in receiving one or have an opinion, please reply. Thank you for your time & I hope to hear from anyone.

So What Happened?

I'm so excited that everyone that has responded so positively for this service! Just to let everyone know, until the organization brings this to the media's attention as well as emergency personel, I'm unable to give them out as it would not be apparent to the necessary persons giving medical attention. Once this happens, which should be soon, I will email all responders asking for the stickers and get information to mail them out. Thank you again & please let anyone you know to come here & voice their opinions.

What a great idea! My children are older, and out of booster seats, but that will benefit a lot of people. I just found out about putting I.C.E (In Case of Emergency) in your cell phone with your emergency contact person. I did it on my kids phone, and my husbands too. This is just one more way to make sure we all get the proper help in case we are unable to speak for whatever reason. I applaud you for your efforts.
