It's so normal!! Don't worry-each pregnancy is just different! The water of the shower couldn't touch my nipples in the first trimester

Hi A., it is totally normal to have complete different pregnancies. My body responded different to all my babies. My first pregnancy I had no swelling, no back pain, felt great. In the first month of my pregnancy though, my breasts were really sore! My second one was bad, back pain all the time which led into back labor. (not fun) My third was a combo of the two. The labors were all different also, so I guess my point is expect this pregnancy to be different and have fun comparing them :)

The nipple thing is DEFINITELY NORMAL! it seemed that my nipples were extremely sore almost immediately after getting pregnant (which was my 1st sign...then once my period was late, that was my proof). My mother had bought me Lanolin (a gel/cream for your nipples when you breastfeed) someone had suggested that i used some of that before i had the baby if my nipples were really sore. maybe that can help. but yeah, it's definitely a normal thing. congrats on the new baby to come, and good luck with the sore nipples, hopefully that doesn't last too long.

I had REALLY tender breasts when I was pregnant, especially in the beginning!!! That's how I found out that I was pregnant actually, really sore breasts! Good luck, and congratulations!! The tenderness went away after awhile for me!

Take Care!

Very normal... what's odd is that you didn't experience it with your first baby!

I knew I was pregnant immediately because of my boobs!!! They were killing me!! Wearing a bra hurt so that is what sparked me to take a pregnancy test. Don't worry. Isn't it amazing what our bodies go through?

My nipples itched within the first week of the "oops" that got me pregnant (no, timing never works as contaception..lol). My boobs prompted me to take the pregnancy test before I even missed a period.
My second and fifth pregnancies they swelled and lactated before I was even showing.

Since you are so early I would go see your doctor. I see no reason why you wouldn't have symptoms now, but it's best to get a blood test and make sure everything is ok and confirm your pregnancy. Congratulations!

OHHHHHHHHHHHH yah TOTALLY normal. Mine were so sore with both my kids that it hurt to take a shower. Actually it's really a good sign. Because with the pregnancy I miscarried I never got that.

It's normal. My nipples (and breasts) were very sore when I was pregnant with my daughter. I remember being pretty uncomfortable, but it didn't last the whole pregnancy. I think that it only lasted my first trimester or maybe a little less.
Hopefully you'll feel better soon.
All the best- B.

Each pregnancy is different. I wouldnt be concerned. When I was pregnant with twins sensations seemed intensifyed so get a ultrasound as soon as the dr. will let you. that is the only thing I can advice. Also ginger tea really cured my morning sickness. good luck

Sore nipples is so normal is odd you didn't have it before. A trick if they get too bad though, use a little vapor rub on them. It may sound really odd, but the menthol in it just does something and the pain subsides a lot. Trick a gf told me and I thought she was nuts till I tried it.
