I am thinking about working part-time to help balance out my family and work life. I want to stay home full-time but my husband and I decided that will come a little later down the line. So I would like to know what do you mommies think. Do you think that is a good idea and I reason I ask is because I recently returned to work and I have had to take off 6 times in a matters of 5 weeks due to illnesses, appointments and things like that. And I ask myself, why did I even come back...LOL.

So What Happened?

Well thank you 2 ladies for your input, I did sit down and talk with my boss and they have agreed to let me work Part-time!!! I am excited and nervous at the same time. My pay will decrease of course, but it will give me more of the flexibility in my life that I am looking for. So thanks again! Now I can concentrate more on my desktop publishing business For His Glory Creations!

Hi T., My name is L., I live in Downers Grove and have 5 Children. I have meet a group of awesome Moms that had the same desire I did, We all wanted to make an income without leaving our children.

As I'm sure you know, there are all kinds of work from home idea's out their now, and Ive tried a few, they were either scams, cost a fortune it join or just didn't work for me.

I have found out about a reputable on line wellness store that is much like Costco or Sam's club, they are a consumer wholesale direct store. their products are safer for you and your family, healthier for everyone and the environment and cheaper than any major store, even Walmart or Target. Their products are all guaranteed to work as well if not better than what we are buying now, or your money back, no questions asked.

They are so sure that you will love their store, they are now offering to give you 100.00 in free products just for trying them!

We are working in partnership, using our first hand knowledge of their store and awesome products. Word of mouth referring is their only advertising. So just for telling people about them, I get a check.

Now for my business, I do not have stock, inventory, deliver products, collect money, do billing or collections, all I do is tell people where to shop to save money and keep their family healthy.

This is so easy to learn, and fun to do, and there is no risk! Here are some informative websites you can check out for yourself. www.livetotalwellness.com/lahart and www.2achievethedream.com. This really works! You and nothing to lose! This is truly an awesome opportunity.

Hi T.

I know your response was some time ago, however, I am new to MamaSource and I want to provide you with some info if you are still looking to stay at home full time. As a matter of fact I would like you and your husband to view my website http://www.7jewelstravels.info I'm sure you will agree that this would give you both the opportunity to potentially earn enough income for you both to stay at home. Take a look, leave your info and I will contact you.

Hi T.,

I was at a similar crossroads myself when my daughter was little and within the last couple years revisited going back to corp. america.
I had had my own business, designing and creating Bridal gowns and after almost 10 yrs needed a change. A friend suggested MLM (network marketing)industry and I did a lot of research on the industry and asked for advice from people I knew from the business world and I found it to be a great solution for me. Check this link out to learn about the industry.

FIRST find one you're excited about and with the current economy it is IMPORTANT to choose one that's a consumable good and recession free. Find a line that people use every day...that they need and use and that meets the current market trends and make sure the market isn't saturated. Also, they must have great support and a great compensation plan. I did alot of research and would be happy to talk with you and share my findings.

I got involved with a MLM less than 2 yrs ago and it has been a great experience and journey & I love the success I've experienced and owning my own life/setting my schedule, I WORK PART TIME from HOME!! I love helping others do the same. Whether they are SAHM's or just sick of corporate America. I don't know what you're looking to earn whether it's a few hundred or a few thousand/month it is very doable.

Again I'm happy to share what I've learned and the research I've done. Just send me an email and perhaps we can arrange a time to talk! Good Luck to you!

My best!

There are various reasons why women return to work and all can be positive. The number one for me was getting away to have some downtime for myself. Also you have additional friends away from your friends and family. The good thing is that you have a husband who is working with you and you're working part instead of full-time. There will always be moments when the kids are either sick or have an activity for the day that you may be required to attend, so my suggestion is to take advantage of the moment.
