Im looking for some fun acitivites for my 20 month old. The only thing I know of is The Little Gym and their website doesn't have prices. Does anyone know how much they cost per semester? Any other ideas on toddler gyms in the would be helpful too! Thanks!

What can I do next?

gymnastic studios also have toddler classes much cheaper than Little Gym. My friend takes her toddler to http://www.tumblewithus.com/ and they are allowed to run around on the equipment. It is a little less structured. Depends on if you think your child will follow instructions or if she just wants to explore.

Check out your local park district programs. In Raleigh, we have an extensive offering of classes at the different community centers. I took a look at The Little Gym and loved it, but I thought $400 a semester was a just little too steep for a 2 year old in a "gymnastics" class. I found a tumbling class at our rec center taught by a US team gymnast that costs $10 an hour. My daughter loves it and I can sign up for 4 weeks at a time, instead of a whole semester, and try out all different kinds of classes.

I'm in the SF Bay Area in California and our Little Gym charges somewhere around $400 (can't remember exactly) for the 20-week semester. I think it usually works out to be about $20/class. You can walk into your local Gym and check out their pamphlet with the current schedule; the rates are listed in that pamphlet.

Depends on where you live as to what is available. My son started a Lil' Kickers soccer program at 18 months and loved it. Gymnastics usually starts around that age, and sometimes dance classes as well. In our area, we have a baby/toddler music class, art classes, and a few other offerings. The library also has story time.

Most classes seem to run about $10/class or $40/month.

It is around 400.00 a semester (20 classes). Honestly, the best program there, in my opinion, is the Beasts (gymnastics for 18 months - 2 1/2yrs). Its more carefree and they can run around and just play on all the equipment or join the circle group and stay structured on a timeline. You can also do a Free Trial class where you choose a calss to participate in and try it out. *They will call you for weeks after that class though to sell you on the program.
If your just wanting your little one to go have fun, play and socialize Little Gym is a great option. Although, there are most likely cheaper alternatives (rec center, etc.) If you you are seriously wanting to get your child started in the basics of a gymnastics/dance program it would be better to go to a warehouse gym or dance studio to see if it's right for your child.
