How long before you started to "feel" pregnant? I am 8 days post ovulation......

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

thank you to everyone that responded! I went for my bloodwork again today, and I am not pregnant. I guess the symptoms that I thought were definite signs were imaginary! The most evident, and definitely not imaginary, was the sudden disappearance of my migraines. I went from 2-3 per week to none since last Monday, the 14th. I will start on 100mg Clomid and hope for the best. Thank you again for your support.

I found out I was pregnant (by testing) just before I missed my period. I didn't have symptoms until around 6 weeks.

I didn't really "feel" pregnant until about 6 weeks. That was the morning sickness and fatigue really kicked in. The weeks before that, I was a little more tired than usual, but that was all. I am at 12 weeks now and looking forward to hearing the heartbeat next week!

2ww??? I am guessing ww stands for 'weeks waiting'? Why does everyone abbreviate things that are not easy to figure out? For example, everyone knows what A.S.A.P. stands for, but no one knows what 2ww stands for. I was able to figure it out, but still. It's just annoying. Sorry I can't help you with your post, just needed to vent about people abbreviating things that they should type out so we aren't trying to decode their abbreviations, and instead, trying to help them. I feel like this site has turned into a decoding website.

I could tell about 12 to 13 days after conception. I felt my period coming on and then went wait.... no, this isn't my period, this is different. I went out that night and bought the "early response" test, then woke up the day my period was due, took it and got a positive result.
The symptoms were similar to my period coming but it just felt different, not sure how to describe it - a little more tired, a little hmmm light headed? I had no desire to drink or doing anything. I just wanted to relax. And my breasts definitely felt larger than with my normal period.
Good luck!

i read into every symptom every single cycle, so the "feelings" i had when i actually was pregnant i thought were imaginary :) For me it all started with tender breasts, nausia, and aversion to wheat bread (strangely enough!).
But just wanted to say i feel your pain! I had years of 2wws and they were always brutal. It always seemed TTC was full of nothing but waiting!
You might already know this, but 8DPO is sometimes early enough to start testing (at least according to www.peeonastick.com, but the sensetivity of every test is different). Although some months i just couldn't bear to see another negative so i didn't test so early.
Sending you good vibes and babydust :) good luck!

(just realized i already commented on another post of yours today and gave you some of the same info - didn't realize the 2 posts were both by you!) :)

With my second I was a nervous track because I didn't feel anything and I didn't saw anything until very late in the pregnancy.
I don't think my husband could understand, I would often come to him and say:"I am not getting big, or I am not feeling sick" etc.
and he would look at me all puzzle :"Do you want to feel sick?". lol
Finally around 5 moths EVERYTHING came at the same time, so I know now to be careful what I ask for.
With my first it was around a month, and it stared with my breast.

I don't know about when you feel pregnant, that is different for everyone. One time I knew days after ovulation because I was super sensitive down there during 'the deed' (too much info, sorry). However, if you want to know if you're pregnant, taking a test is much faster....and if you are a pee-on-a-stick-aholic like me....you can start anytime now. Dollar store tests are the best, and only $1. Or go to peeonastick.com for all the info about when you can start testing.

With my first, I noticed very sore breasts and spotting a few days before I was due for my period, but got a negative test (so went partying that weekend!) By Monday, it was +! With DS, I KNEW I was pregnant...had some spotting, and went grocery shopping and could "smell" the "nasty chicken"...so I went home and tested (it was 9 DPO...I'm sure you know the acronym if you're in the 2WW!) and it was -!! I was amazed. But by the next morning it was +. Those were subtle changes...the "feeling pregnant" stuff didn't start until later...DD was around 7 weeks that I started feeling the nausea and fatigue, DS was about 6 weeks.
Good luck to you! (And if you are going to test early, go with a First Response PINK early preg test...they are some of the most sensitive and much easier to read than the blues (I thought I had an OOPS when DS was 3 months old...but it was just a bad batch of blue preg tests.)

And P.S. Don't take the comments about the "short hand" personally. Anyone who's been thru more than a couple 2WW's will figure out what you're talking about! =0)

Honestly? I think I started to have a sore chest about 2 weeks after conception... it was my first "um... I think I might be preggers" moment.
