Try the teething tablets. They are by the orajel, I used them for both of my girls and they did seem to work pretty well. Also infant's Motrin I think worked better on the pain than the Tylenol did.

my little guy got his 1st tooth at 4 months old and what really helped me was freezing a cloth and giving it to him or even a small cold bottle of spring water to chew on the bottom, it sounds bizzare but it did the trick

My kids liked frozen bagels to munch, frozen waffles, frozen bananas, etc... the counter pressure and coldness does wonders. She just needs lots of extra love to get through this :) Try to keep her busy to distract her from the discomfort!

I purchased a blanket with rubber teething corners on them. My son loved it. He curled up with the blanket and stuck it in his mouth. Good luck Mom, I know teething sucks.

When my children were teething I used a natural anesthetic. The lemon rind juice is what I used. I would peel the lemon in strips that I could hold while my child chewed. First freeze them because the juice doesn't taste good, by the time it thaws their gums are numb and feeling better. The cold rind feels good to their gums and the juice numbs them in the process. It worked for me so give it a try.

I found that Tylenol didn't work well for teething. Motrin is an anti-inflammatory and works much better on teething. You might also try the Hyland's teething tablets.

This isn't sold as a teether (therapy toy for oral motor needs), but it makes the best teether for farther back teeth, and you can get scented ones that they are more likely to chew on. http://www.amazon.com/Ark-Grabber-Textured-Berry-Scented/...

You can try teething rings, teething rings that have been in the fridge, rub her gums with your finger, give her a cold damp cloth to bite on, Motrin, your finger, Mum-Mums. Mainly though, the Motrin was great at night, but during the day it was lots of cuddling and chomping on my finger. If she has a sippy cup or nurses, my son was comforted with milk too.

Tylenol never worked for my babies teething. But, the Motrin worked magic! Maybe switch to that and see if it makes her more comfortable. If I'm not mistaking....the back of the Infants Motrin even mentions relief of tooth pain.
Also, my kids loved an ice cube wrapped in a baby washcloth. I put a rubberband under the ice cube real tight and then would dampen the washcloth covered ice cube and they would hold onto that thing and chomp/suck away! LOL The coldness would numb their gums and the pressure of them knawing on the ice cube felt really good to them. My mom taught me that trick and it worked great for my babies. I liked it b/c I never had to worry about chunks of any frozen waffle or what not accidentally breaking off and going down their throat.
Good luck! I hope you find her some relief soon! I promise it doesn't last forever! Now mine is starting to loose her teeth! Seems like just yesterday she was knawing on the ice cube from getting those teeth. =0)

Teething tablets have always worked great for my daughter. We give her motrin, orajel and teething tablets. She is teething now too. Plus my daughter never liked teethers except there is one that is shaped like a strawberry and it viabrates when you bite down she loves that. She also really likes a wash cloth or a burp rag wet part of it and put it in the freezer for a little bit and it is nice and cold and great to chew on plus it does not make a mess. Good Luck hope this works for you.
