mickelson tax service on robert st - they are in the phonebook. I have been going to them for years. They always have done to great job at getting me the best refund. Ps I went to school with the daughter of the owner. She runs the business now. She is very sharp in taxes.

A couple suggestions: first is DO NOT go to HR Block (for several reasons). Next, if you are near Stillwater or if you don't mind the drive, Powell & Rosenbush Tax Service is the very best (I'm not kidding). It's a partnership of three women- two have 30+ years experience and one has about 7 years experience (her name is A. Clark). I think A. is the only one taking new clients and all of her clients rave about her. They are all very knowledgable, fairly priced (way below what HR Block or other franchises charge) and really nice, too. The phone number is ###-###-####.
Next, Grannis & Hauge is a law firm in Eagan that has a fairly large tax practice as well. Again very experienced- you would be in great hands. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

I don't have any advice on where to go, but i'll advise you on where not to go. H & R block. It took them 1/2 hour to do my taxes and it cost $150. I bought a house and thought i should have someone else do my taxes. It was basically turbo tax that he used.
