I'm sure it's too early, but I'm looking for a way to get my sons into T-ball in the spring, in the Keller area. They'll be 4 in January. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on where to start this search???

Thanks so much :)
E.

My son played with NAYA at that age and we had a good experience.

Check with your city recreation center. My son started T-Ball when he was 4, now he's 14.5 and has played every year ever since. We never pushed him, but many years he played in teams year round. Now his coaches say at the rate he's going he will more than likely get a college scholarship to play. I was watching a show the other night, and heard it's never too early to start kids in any activity if they want to do it. Good luck!

You definitely do not want to enroll your child in the Grapevine league... EVER. My son was abused by the coach and the commissioners have refused to transfer my son to another team. I am shocked that a league would allow my son to be humiliated in front of other team players and they do nothing to protect my child. I have learned that this is not the first time that this has happened to a child on the tee ball level.

Colleyville and Grapevine both have Blastball for that age group. It is pre-T-ball. They only run to 1st base and it makes a noise when they step(jump) on it. No specific defensive positions.

I don't know about next year, but I do know that this past year KYA (Keller Youth Association) offered the blast ball for four-year-olds...and when they turn 5, they can play T-Ball.

Both of our boys have played there and we've always had a positive experience.
Good luck!
