My daughter is turning three in November and has been saying for months that she wants a swing for her birthday. We'd like to get a high quality swingset that she and her younger brother will be able to use throughout their childhood years. What's good?

What can I do next?

We got an Oasis brand swingset a few months ago and are really happy with it. I bought it used on craigslist for about 1/3 of the retail price and it is in excellent condition. It seems really sturdy and I think it will last as long as my kids feel like using it.

Little Tikes makes one my child used from 1 to 9. Endless Adventures. The sandbox, fort, glider, and two swings are plenty big for three kids. It held up and looks great compared to the wood one that came with my house.
Toys R Us in Midland had them and sometimes marks them down at this time of year. You could call the manager and ask.

We bought a Rainbow playscape for our children in 1999 when we first moved to Texas. Two years ago, we gave it to our neighbors who are STILL enjoying it. It's very sturdy - only needing refinishing and some minor tightening in all these years!

We just got a swing set for our kids. I dont know the brand off the top of my head but we also used craig's list. It took a few months to find one that was in our budget and in good shape. But they are out there.
Good luck
