Hello A., there is another great swim lesson option, my daughter is attending and I am very pleased! The name is ISR = Infant Swimming Resource, the instructor in Tampa area is Emma Grynbal, Certified ISR Instructor,Drowning Prevention Specialist...her phone is ###-###-#### the website is www.infantswim.com. I learned of ISR through a friend who did the swim program with her daughter as well. I wish I had heard of this place first...I did try another swim school initially. ISR focus's on giving your child the survival skills in the water, whether they fall in a pool, lake, pond or any body of water. I love the instructor, Emma she is amazing!! I recommend checking ISR out along with any other research you do, it is worth it! knowing your baby can survive in the water - will give any parent such a peace of mind. ISR offers private 1-1 lesson, 5 days a week for 10 min. a day, believe me that 10 min. is all they need! The cost comes to $15 a day but well worth it! the lessons are are very effective...I feel great about my choice, best wishes!

A.,

There is a very good school in Lutz. It is called Seal Swim School. I have not taken my child there but have friends that do every summer. I have no idea of their pricing.

Do you have your own pool?? If so I just found private lessons where they come to you. 5 days, a half hour each day, the first child is $175 for the week and and additional children are $150. I have not used them yet, our lessons are the week of May 21st. My older daughter is 5 and we are doing life saving type skills since she can swim. My other daughter is 17 months and she recommended one week now and then follow up a little later in the summer and she said she would teach me how to work with her during summer. If you have a pool and it's heated she will start in May, if not heated she won't sign you up until June. Seems good, I let you know more after the week of May 21st if you want to e-mail me to find out. My e-mail is ____@____.com Oh, the name of the company is Maureen's Wet Seal Swimmers and ###-###-####.

I'm not sure where you live or your price range, but the New Tampa YMCA has classes. I can't remember the exact cost, but I think it was in the $30's range (1 day/week for a month). Good luck!
