S.,
If you are looking for group lessons, I highly recommend you contact your community center. Wellington Community Center does an 8 week session for $55, and I assume that your area does the same. Contact the American Red Cross too for information. Also, if you receive any type of assistance (WIC, food stamps etc.) you will most likely qualify for certificates from Drowning Prevention (I can't remember the exact name but I will ask my friend and you can email me at ____@____.com if you want and I will find out for you). The Drowning Prevention can also refer you to swim lessons.

I am taking my DS to lifestyle swim school at FAU. You can get more info at www.babyswimming.com I have only been doing it for 3 weeks and it is so gentle and fun. He is already going under water from 1 person to another.
