I would like to make list of songs for my husband's Ipod about Texas since we just moved here. Thanks for any that you think of! (For example, that Willie Nelson song "nothin quite like Texas on a Saturday night")

What can I do next?

Hi E. and welcome to Austin! I know that this sounds kind of funny but the Urban Cowboy soundtrack has a great Texas song. It's "Hello Texas" by Jimmy Buffett. I hope you can find it - it's a bit dated, of course, but a really groovy Texas song. Enjoy!

You don't need to download the songs, but just for a great playlist of possible options:

By the way, anything by the Austin native Lyle Lovett is always high in my book!

Lyle Lovett's That's Right (You're not from Texas) is a happy little number.

Surely "That's right you're not from Texas(but Texas wants you anyways)" by Lyle Lovett would go over well.

Try songs from Lyle Lovett, Asleep at the Wheel, ZZ Top, and (of course) Willie Nelson...
