Sunscreen That Doesn't Make You Feel "Beachy?"

I am hoping to find a sunscreen that I can wear daily that won't leave me feeling like a greasy mess. Any ideas?

I can get 2 kinds if needed: 1 for face, 1 for body

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I ended up getting some of the Neutrogena, 70 SPF, and used it for the first time today. It was very sunny and 86' and I didn't sweat it off. It feels VERY clean, and wasn't too expensive.

Thanks for the input, ladies.

By the way, I have no concerns about my Vitamin D level. I never use sunscreen on my legs because they never tan or burn anyways, so with my 34" inseam, I think I have sufficient unprotected skin absorbing sunlight. Of course, staying in the shade would be ideal, but not a practical expectation with 3 boys between the ages of 2 and 6. They're not going to confine themseles to shady areas.

I hate sunscreen but I love Sun Shades...the lotion is SPF 30. The spray-on is SPF 45. I don't personally use the spray but my hubby and son do. It does not make you "greasy" like most.

Yep, as someone posted -- Neutrogena Dry Touch. No greasy feel. There also are other "dry" sunscreens that are cheaper; Walgreen's makes its own version of the Neutrogena product.

These might be too heavy for facial use every single day, especially if you have skin issues; look for a good, lightweight face lotion that has sunscreen in it (as opposed to just a pure sunscreen product). A facial lotion with sunscreen in it should be good for daily use unless you get a lot of direct sun exposure every day.

Body - Neutrogena Dry Touch - we use 50 or 70 at our house
- Lubriderm 15 - it feels like regular cream, not sunscreen and we use it as a top up everyday

Face - Kheil's Oil Free Sunblock 50 (pricey, but the only one my oily skin doesn't break out with)

Every day? I hope you're not impeding your vitamin D production by doing this...coconut oil is a great alternative to the chemicals in sunscreen. And wearing sunglasses actually promotes sunburn if you can believe that! Please have your vitamin D levels checked, and stay in the shade if you're that concerned about burning.

I'm a redhead, so I wear sunscreen year-round. The best of the best I've found (and I've tried just about everything):

Body: Lubriderm lotion with SPF 15. Great for everyday activities. It's like wearing a normal lotion. No trace of the usual sunblock stickiness or smell.

Face: Oil of Olay's facial lotions with SPF. They're very light and not greasy at all. No sunblock smell, either.

For regular sunscreen, try any labeled Sport. I've found they tend to be less greasy.

Shaklee's Enfuselle Sunblock spf 30

When I became a Shaklee Distributor I was afraid to try it because I am allergic to most sunscreens, but like a good distributor I felt I should. I love it! I am not allergic to it and it sinks into your skin so that you don't feel all slimy! Really, I totally recommend it.

For my face I use (everyday) CeraVe facial moisturizing lotion with SPF 30. It has no smell and isn't greasy at all, and won't clog pores!
