I clean houses and I'm trying to educate myself more on GREEN cleaning. With GREEN cleaning becoming more and more popular I see it necessary to learn more about it. So can any of you recommend GREEN cleaning products for me to look into?

I have used Simply Green AND Green Works in the past. And of course, my favorite VINEGAR/WATER.

Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

7th generation works great and you can download coupons off of their website once you register (usually $1 per one or $1 per 2). If you live somewhere with a Kroger, they'll often run good sales on their products and then you get the coupons too!

Melaleuca is great if you use a lot of their stuff and can meet the minimum order - 35points, which is about $60/month. I couldn't keep up, but if you convert your cleaning, vitamin, etc. over, you can do it. Good stuff.

I agree with the Melaleuca comment. They have tons of "safe" products for your home and the best vitamins and lotion on the planet. =) Their cleaning products work better than any of the *name brands* and they're cheaper and safe! I love them!

I use white vinegar and/or baking soda for pretty much everything.

I love Melaleuca products. All of their products are non-toxic and safe for the entire family. None of their cleaning products even have child-proof caps on them. And they carry a wide range of products from cleaning products, to products for pets, to vitamins and organic crackers to make- up and hair care. So while they do have a monthly minimum to order, I can do much of my non-grocery shopping through them rather than at the store that I have no problem meeting the minimum. Let me know if you would like more information, I love to educate people on Melaleuca products and how easy it is to switch stores from the grocery store to the "melaleuca store".

Definitely check into Shaklee. They were green before anyone else know what it meant or the word "biodegradeable" was coined. You will also safe a lot of money. It could be a real boost to your business to go green. I won't hire anyone to clean mine unless they use Shaklee or know how to use my supplies.
They are used by the Costeau Society and the White House.
I can give you my website if you are interested where you can learn more.
To check out products to see if they really are green, go to www.ewg.org. A lot of products like Green Works really aren't.

My favorite is using tea tree oil. If you google it, you will see different uses. I put some in a spray bottle of water. I love the smell so much! It is a natural disinfectant.
