Whatever you end up getting, make sure you get her a helmet! I'm currently on the computer for my 20 minutes a day because of a head injury after taking a pretty bad spill off one of my kids' scooter.

Just please make sure you get her a helmet!

We got a Radio Flyer scooter - it's got 2 wheels in the back and 1 in the front, so the base is wider and more stable. And it's cute and pink! :)

I asked a similar question about a scooter for my 2 year old just a few weeks ago and we did end up getting one for him. My dad bought him the Radio Flyer one that has a very wide base and two wheels in front and one in back. It is great and he loves it! Definitely get one with a wide base and three wheels.

Get one with 2 wheels in the back and 1 in the front.
My son had that, from Walmart, from 2 years old.
They can balance on it, that way.
It is made for Toddlers.
My son is now 5, and his scooter is still good.
And not broken.
His was a spiderman character scooter.

I don't know if they still have it.

The Mini kick from Micro Mobility gets very high ratings, both from the users on Amazon and also it's Toy of the Year. It's the one I see most in the park, and the one I'm getting for my 2-1/2 yo. She rides them in the park and LOVES them!

Hi, Mini Kick is great! and will grow more with your child. the Radio Flyer has less turning mobility and is wider, so more stable for a very young child(about half the price of the mini kick, btw), so I suggest you choose between the two based on how coordinated your child. The scooters with two wheels in front are more stable than scooters with two in back and one in front.

The Radio Flyer is bulkier, so a bit more awkward to carry.

Scooters are a great urban way to transition kids out of strollers but still keep them moving when you are going places! a lot of fun!

Cheers,
C.

DD likes the scooter she has - it has 3 wheels and a big base...radio flyer brand, I think. Not sure the growing potential, though. It was a gift.
