I have done bachelors in engineering, (electronics) . But I didn't do job till now, due to some family situation. I an 30 yrs old. I just want to know is there any age limit to do fashion designing course... I am not good in technical stuff, so I want to do something which I love and work in some creative field which I was very good. If there is any other course other than fashion designing please let me know, any colleges near Denton tx.. If u know anyone who has done late and carried with good carrier please let me know?

I don't think it is ever too late to get more education.

Your location says Denton.... You have Texas Women's University and University of North Texas in your back door. Check them out. I don't know about their detailed programs. I do know UNT has a good music program. There is also a Fashion Institute in Dallas somewhere because they are non stop recruiting my daughter who is a current Senior in High School.

Good luck

Fashion Design or Interior Design are good courses to take. And Sweetie 30 is young.

I don't know which school to choose but you should be able to get answers by calling a local school and talking to an education counselor.

I would find a career counselor to discuss this with. Our community college provides a class that you can take. You can also call the colleges and ask how to get connected with a career counselor. You will learn what you have an aptitude for and what course work is available where.

There is no age requirement for any course. Our society, in general, encourages lifetime learning. 30 is definitely not too late to begin a new career. Many, many people change careers often much later than 30.

I would start with the internet and look for schools in your area. Maybe you could just do an electronic technician job part-time to pay for the fashion design school. I used to be a secretary in the Engineering Dept. so I know it's a lot of technical stuff!!

As for your age, you're just a baby!! lol!! I think it's great you want to go back to school. I'm in my 50's and am thinking of going back.

Good luck!!
