I am looking to sell some baby items, formal, semi-formal dresses & LOTS of toys.
Since I am not from here I was wondering if anyone knows of a thrift store or consignment store that BUYS items?
I have limited time to coordinate a garage sale, and it is really my last resort. I would really like to get some money for these things at that they are in great condition. All of my dresses were only ever worn once.
If anyone knows of anything like what I am looking for please let me know. Thanks.

What can I do next?

S.,
We just visited a store this weekend that was awesome! They sell used kids stuff and they buy stuff on a couple days a week. They were located in Bellevue right off Highway 370 and 72nd Street. The name was Bigwheels 2 Butterflies. Give them a call. All of the things there were pretty reasonable and the clothes were in great condition. Based on the prices of the clothes, I'm not sure how mucyou'd get for your clothes but it's worth checking out.

Hi S..

I consign all of my children's clothes and toys at Reruns R Fun which is one of the largest consignment sales in Omaha put on twice a year (fall and spring). They have a website at www.rerunsrfun.net to get more information. I've never had anthing that didn't sell and you can price it as you like and they keep a percentage of the sales. It is run as a fundraiser for a church and they donate a lot of their profits to various charities. It's also a great place to shop for your own kids clothes and toys!!!

S., there is a place on 72nd and 370 by the name of Bigwheels to butterflies that purchases used clothes, toys furniture etc... They look through all of the items and give 40% of what they could sell it for, some of my items they took, some they gave back, but it was better to get a little bit for my stuff than nothing at all. Good luck!

Hi S. ~ if you are not in a rush to sell your items, I would suggest trying www.classifiedomaha.com. I've sold many items through this site...I've found that I can get a better return rather than going through a consignment shop. You just have to be a little patient though, because sometimes you don't get buyers for awhile. Just another option.
