Strange Color Poop in 13 Mo Old

Last night I changed my 13 mo olds poopy diaper and it was almost an off white color. A couple of hours ago, I changed another one and this time it was a pale peach color, like the color of skin. After I changed him last night, I gave him a bottle and a few minutes later he threw it up everywhere. He seemed fine and went to bed about 1/2 hour later. He has never thrown up, just spit up and this was almost like a violent throw up. He has been active and normal acting all day today. He hasn't eaten anything weird so I don't know if he has caught a bug, or what. Has anyone else seen anything like this? Oh, my husband did give him one of those pink wafer cookies that are rectangle shaped earlier, but I wouldn't think one, or even two, would cause this. We did transition him from formula to whole milk a couple of weeks ago, but I would think it has been long enough and we would've seen any changes w/in the first few days. Thanks!!

What can I do next?

My daughter as a toddler had some of those symptoms with a stomach bug. Usually the light color poop went with times she was drinking a lot of formula or milk and not eating well. It went away in a few days on it's own. You could give him formula for a few days just because it is easier to digest than cow's milk. Then try milk again slowly when he seems better. As long as he is drinking and still wetting diapers then he may be able to ride it out on his own. Watch for dehydration though, because babies can dehydrate much faster than adults. Check with the doctor if see something that worries you.

We call that the "ghost poop" here. Usually indicates teething - the throwing up can be a symptom of that as well. I doubt it's the formula/milk thing that would happen much faster.

White poo in our house is the beginning of the tummy bug in wee ones sometimes for them it is just the diareah, watch out! just in case keep a washing. I see white poo and I run lol I being the primary diaper changer no matter the washing of hands always seem to end up getting it also. :(

This is just something I dealt with in december with my mom, and the doctor said her bile duct was blocked and when bile can't get into the intestine to help break down the food it will get like colored or even white. I would think if that was it he would be having pain in his side. I would check with your doctor just to be sure. Also a prayer of faith for his healing works wonders, its what helped my mom.

Both problems could be related to the transition to milk. I would just keep noting it. If it lasts through tomorrow, I'd touch base with your pediatrician on Monday.
