Hey everybody! I have always dreamed of starting my own daycare. I think I'm finally ready to do it. My son will be starting KG next year, so it's a good time. So, my question- I'm curious of places that need more daycares. I live in Rowlett so I don't want to have to drive too far, but I also want a growing area or area in need. Please let me know what you think. :) Also, if any of you have started a daycare before- I'd love to talk to you about how to get it all started. It's still in the dream stage... need to wake up and do it!
I think it's great you are doing this...especially since you have a degree in education! I do know that the good daycares in Rockwall have a wait for up to 6 months....Rockwall, Forney or even Sachse....they are growing areas. Good luck!

I think the Sachse area needs more daycares. My son is currently in a daycare in Sachse and from what I have seen this is the only one I trust. There is definitely a need for more quality day cares.
