Spinoff: What Stickers or Decals Do You Have on Your Car? (JFF)

We don't have anything right now, but I bought some of those family member window decals, with a Star Wars theme. Once it warms up I'll put them on the car.

Hubby: Darth Vader
Me: Leia
Kid 1: Han Solo
Kid 2: Luke Skywalker
Kid 3: R2D2
Kid 4 will be an Ewok

I don't put political ones on because in this state I'd probably get my car keyed for my views ;-)

What can I do next?

None.

But I was amazed to see a Mercedes Benz with a bumper sticker yesterday. It said, "I (heart / love) Grosse Point (a very old upper class village near Detroit). Never thought I'd see a sticker on a Mercedes.

The only sticker I have is a small Onstar sticker on my side window. I didn't pay $40K for my SUV just to put stickers on it! Sorry, just not my thing.

Well, we do have an Obama sticker from a while ago. And an 'equal' sign from the HRC. ( A LGBTQ equal rights group we support) We also have

"Got Cribbage?" (because we love it!)
and "Can't Sleep. Clowns Will Eat Me." Great line, from the Simpsons, I think.

Still missing our old Salvador Dali : "The only difference between myself and a madman is that I am not mad!" Will get one the next time we visit the Dali Museum in St Petersburg.

it tickles me when people make snarky comments about stickers on cars. i mean seriously. who is it hurting? it's no different than wearing a certain t-shirt because you like the logo. it's my car. i paid for it. i'll put whatever i damn well please on it. lol! hate away if it makes you feel better about yourself...

i have the "family" stickers but in flip flops :) it's very "us" because we are a dual-state family - kansas, but our hearts are in florida too.

i have never done political because (well, besides i'm not very political) we tend to keep cars as long as possible - and how would i look driving around with a Reagan sticker on my bumper in 2013?? lol....

I think I would want to be R2D2.

I don't have anything but I just bought the car recently. I might dig out a Darwin fish and put it on there. Maybe the 'coexist' sticker my mom sent me. And I think I have a POW 'missing but not forgotten' sticker somewhere that might go on it.

NONE ---- with exception of what is required to keep the cars legal (inspection and tag sticker), tolltag, and country club parking pass (small), all on the same area of the windshield.

I would never put any sticker or decal on my car.

Hubby has the same stickers do... all for legal purposes.

Daughter has all the same stickers we do for legal purposes, plus school parking sticker. She does have a magnet Wolfhead (mascot) on the back area of her car as well as a bling cheer megaphone on the back window.

My daughter wants a political one but we told her NO because it would probably mean she would get keyed or worse and since we bought and paid for her car, it is a NO.

We all drive Mercedes and we will not devalue our cars with stickers.

One bumper sticker, which is clear with white lettering, that has the logo for Musician's Friend.

My last car had a Respect Life sticker.

My first car had a slew, from Bad Religion to They Might Be Giants, Dead Bears to Korn, and of course, little rudeboys skanking their way across my car. Ahhhh...teenage years.

And Tad...I never had your last one as a bumper sticker, but I sure did spray paint the heck out of that bake sale sentiment on a bridge. Again, I am SOOOO glad I am out of my political youth!!! ;) (Still love the sentiment, though.)

None. Too many crazy people out there. And it works both ways. I live in the same state as you and my sister had an Obama sticker on her car and was run off the road by some crazy right-wing nutcase. And yes, it was because of her sticker because he screamed anti-Obama racist obscenities at her. Nice.

my husband insists that where we live, too many stickers attract cops' attention, LOL!! Really!! So all we have on our car (we are a one-car family right now) is a Fraternal Order of Police Sticker, and i insisted on putting my Humane Society and ASPCA membership stickers on it, too. just like Queen said.... i'm afraid too much of the wrong thing, and our car might get WORSE than keyed, lol. I did have a Steve Cohen (Tennessee HofR) sticker on my car last year, though.

How fun!

An HRC equal sign
Warning - I brake for unicorns, elves, fairies, and other creatures only I can see.

I MISS "kid stickers". The ones on the back wi does that heaven only knows where they came from but get stuck on at weird (most UNesthetically pleasing) angles and groupings. With glass bonding superglue so strong that even the colorful part comes off after a few years but the glue bonded paper silloutte stays pristine & white & STUCK for 10+ years.

Car accident.
Replaced shattered window.
Sniff.

Aside from that:

Tabs.
Which are 3 days away from being expired.
Oil change decal

My son wants family stickers.
Its just the 2 of us (and the dog!)
So I need to find some good ones.
Keep forgetting to look
Thanks for the reminder!

FUNNIEST sticker ever?

My bestie was posted in Jamaica.
Sent back a reggae sticker
Straight edge chick that we both were at the time...
Didn't realize that it was actually code for

"Pull me over & inhale, I use drugs, and am advertising that on my car"

((No pot leaf or drug reference on the durn sticker, just the Jamaican flag & the music festival stuff)).

I got pulled over at LEAST 3x per week for a solid month.
Until one kind officer clued me in.
Oh.
Duly noted
Removed!

WA needs a reason to pull people over.
So I was always given one.
My two favs were

1) Your blinker is flickering (I was TURNING)
2) You were going significantly under the speed limit (I was breaking to come to a stop to park.

No stickers aside from the military ones which they will no longer be using so why they're still on the car I have no idea. I'm certain I'd get the car towed and keyed something fierce if I put my beliefs and what I like on the car.

I don't have any on my truck right now. The funniest one I've ever seen in my whole life was one that read "my other ride is your mom"! I still laugh when I think of it.

In college all of my friends and I used to tag eachother's cars with the worst ones we could find. We put one that said "I love crack" on a guy friends. I still can't believe he didn't get pulled over for it.

No stickers (with the exception of my registration decal on my license plate) on my car. To me it would devalue my three month old car and there are lots of other ways to express myself. I drove company provided cars for 18 years and they were never allowed. My 19 year old daughter won't do it either in her four year old California Jetta....she does have a Nemo antenna ball though (it's pretty cute).
