i'm looking for a class to put my 3 year-old son into to learn spanish. Do you know of any place in DuPage county? We live in Elmhurst.
The YMCA in Glen Ellyn ###-###-#### offers Spanish for kids. They have several different options I think. We haven't taken any of those classes, yet, but I know the ladies who teach them and think they're great. They are native speakers and their classes are reasonably priced, especially if you are a member
Try Language Stars in Hinsdale or Naperville. I think there is also another foreign language academy in Westmont and Downers Grove.
M., I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but my au pair (Karla from Columbia) is a former teacher and she's putting a Spanish class for all the kids in my neighborhood. We've got a class of about 5 right now and I think she would take one more. My 2 sons are 3 and 5 and they will be in the class. I live in Downers Grove and she would be holding the class outside in our yard(inside depending on weather). I think she priced it $56 (?) for an 8 week class (an hour per week). we like Language Stars. They have many locations in the Chicago area.
My friend took her daughter to Language Stars and she really liked it. It is a bit pricey, I think. You can go and take a free/preview class before signing up. If you are looking for private Spanish lessons, my neighbor does that. If you need more info, I'll provide. I'm not sure cost, etc., but she's a nice lady with 3 grown kids.
There is a Language Stars in Hinsdale. Elmhurts Park District may also have a class but I am not sure.
