Gargle warm salt water! It is natural, kills germs and soothes.

I would think Motrin would work better than Tylenol. Motrin helps with inflammation. The other thing is the chloraseptic spray but it only aides as temporary relief. Also honey is very soothing as well. I'm sorry I know a sore throat is the worst! UGH!

Liquid Tylonal Sore Throat medicine works REALLY well. There is daytime and night time stuff.

Gargle with warm salt water. It's a very puky and horrible tasting activity, but rinse your mouth with normal (sweet) water afterwards and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the results.

Use a zinc lozenger.

Use Motrin/Ibuprofen products to reduce swelling. Tylenol never helps my sore throat issues.

Drink hot chamomile/peppermint teas with honey.

My ENT told me to gargle with half hydrogen peroxide and half water.
If you use half a cup of each mixed, then gargle.
My kids and I use this mix and it really works.
