A museum an exciting park anything and I will travel so if you have any advice I'd love to hear it. Thank you hope to hear from you soon.

Polliwog park in Manhattan beach is really nice. It has a duck pond that kids seem to love (make sure you bring some bread).

Hi J.,
Travel Town in griffeth Park is an outstanding train place to see and climb on trains. It has atrain ride too for a small cost. It is next to the Los Angeles zoo. My kids loved both places!! There is a beautiful carosel also on the other side of the zoo. During the school year it is open on the weekends. During the summer I believe the carosel is open everyday. Just past the carosel is a pony ride place and another small train ride. There is also lots of museums in Los Angeles. The Natural history museum and the museum of science and industry has lots of small child friendly things. If you belong to the auto club AAA you can get a free Southern California book that has everything mthat Southern California has and it tells you times, days and prices and my favorite, free days. An amusement park that is terrific for something extra special is Adventure city in the city of Orange. It is geared for between age 2 and 12 and it is wonderful and inexpensive. One summer, I took my children to a different park each week. They looked forward to park day and loved playing on the different equipment. In the Thomas Guide map book, every park is a green area so you can see where they are. When my kids were a school age they looked forward to going to different Vacation Bible Schools during the summer. Most churches offer them for free and there are usually about 8 different curriculumns out there so we arranged a calendar so we could do a different one each week. Good Luck, D.

Kidspace Museum in pasadena is great! Not so much an actual museum, but tons of fun (and educational) stuff for kids of all ages. And its only $8 per person! I don't remember their website, but you can just google it.
