3. Deux par deux

I lived in Chicago and Denver - never used a snowsuit for a baby. Layers are better in my opinion. So, don't feel you need a snowsuit. If they get too warm that's not a good thing.

I would get LL Bean. Lands End or REI brands. We used to live in Alaska and those are the best (that are semi-affordable) and are still the only brands of outerwear we buy. Columbia would be the first choice I would pick from your list but only bc I have never heard of the other two.

id honestly just get a regular snow outfit from walmart or target, because he will probably have on long pants and a onsie and a long sleeve shirt plus socks and you dont want him to get too hot, plus he wont be out side too much (imo) to get use out of it and it would be a waste of money

For California? Huh.....I don't know...perhaps you've moved. I prefer ll bean to Columbia. Ll bean will replace their products for any reason free of charge Columbia has a very limited warranty. I suppose for a baby it doesn't matter. Just please for the safety of your child remember that nothing thicker than a fleece should be worn in the car.

I purchased one on eBay for $1 (+ $5 for shipping) a few years ago for my granddaughter who was wearing the same size at the time. At that age I wasn't willing to spend tons of money for an item she would get so little use out of, even though they were going to the cabin in Big Bear every weekend.

I don't recall the brand, but it was extremely warm when she had her her clothes on underneath and impossible to cool her off. We found that layering clothing and removing items as necessary worked best and I donated the snowsuit.

You live in San Jose, CA - right? I take it you'll be going to Lake Tahoe a lot?

If you want save $$$$ go to ebay and find one there. Now is the time they are starting to list things like this...

I like REI better - they aren't as bulky and still keep the baby warm.

GOOD LUCK!!

The fleece snowsuits from Landsend, Columbia or REI are awesome. Not so bulky but cozy warm. Check ebay first as you can get great deals.

I'm sure they will all be fine. He will be little and probably in a carriage. You can bundle him up in any one of these brands and throw a blanket over him.
