I have light acne scarring on my face and would like to try professional microdermabrasion. My problem is that I do not know where to go. I called several dermatologists but none did "cosmetic" dermatology. So it sounds like I do not need to go to a doctor but I also do not want to go to any salon where they do hair and nails. What type of place do I go to get professional, high quality skin care? Or any specific recommendations would be helpful. I live in the Sacramento area. Thanks!

I had microdermabrasion down for sometime at Dr Keiner's office in Roseville - ###-###-####. I was in a car accident and was told that might alleviate the scarring on my face. In the past they had someone that did microdermabrasion. I am not sure if they still do.
I would still recommend going to a Dermatologist office. There are a few who have aestheticians at the office that are well trained and supervised. Here are two in Sacramento:
