Hi ...

I found out I was pregnant 2 months after my sister in law did and we had a great time. We went to all our doctors appointments together and it was my first child so I could ask her about things because it was her second. I liked having someone right there with me. She had her son in July of 2001 and I had twin girls in Sept of 2001. Its fun having kids the same age too. I wish you the best of luck!!

It would be nice to have someone to be pregnant with. You guys could plan shopping trips for baby stuff.....go along to DR appointments with each other, bounce baby theme ideas of each other. You never know, it might bring the two of you closer. When I was pregnant with my oldest, his father's sister became pregnant a few months after me. It was nice to have someone to exchange stories with, talk to and go shopping with. I hope everything works out for you all of you. And Congratulations.

I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 5.5 months and then I found out it was with twin boys. My cousin on the other hand found out when she was like 2 weeks (I swear it was so early!) and so she knew forever and thought she would get so much attention. Well when I got pregnant and with it being twins and with me just generally being nicer than her, people were so great towards me that it drove her crazy. She was due before me, but I ended up having my boys 1 week before her, so that drove her even more crazy. All of my family live like 2.5 hours away, so when we go to visit, everyone makes a big deal and it really has driven a wedge between us. She makes excuses not to come and she gets so pissed that I get attention. She also makes everything a competition and when my boys were walking first, she lied and said her son started walking too. It's so ridiculous. I just keep smiling and move on. Who wants to be that miserable? I would say, stay positive and try to do things together with her to make things better for the 2 of you. If it doesn't work, then oh well, just be happy and look forward to your new bundle of joy!
