i work full time out of necessity, and am somewhat looking for ideas about a new job. my problem is that i can make so much more money sitting at a desk somewhere, but i would do nothing but gain weight...i'm overweight as it is, and have proven to myself over and over again that i don't have the drive to lose it myself! but the job i have now is quite physical and i have a lot of faith in myself, that i'd be able to do a job all day that requires walking, lifting, etc. i'm at the point now where i KNOW i could do it. anyway, if anyone has suggestions i'd be glad to hear them. i'm in the olathe area near the courthouse (old olathe) and would prefer not to drive too far, too. (about fifteen minutes or less) in my dreams anyway! even if ya'll just have ideas of what kind of job to look for that would help. thanks!

What can I do next?

I don't know if you have any type of training but I know hospitals are always looking for Nurses aids. You would probably work 2-3 12hour shifts and it is lots of walking, lifting and hardly no down time. But I also would say that UPS/ fedx is definately a work out. My sister did it for many years!(and actually loved it)

I S. the FedEx suggestion. A friend/former neighbor who is also in Olathe got a job at FedEx and got a great "work out" while making money.

Good Luck
