I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I'll just say 50% of the time it works 100% of the time.... lol. How can anyone really know what method "works"? Even with the results, figures, percentages, etc, God may just have decided to give you a girl or a boy that particular time. But I totally understand wanting a certain gender and that's fine, just don't want you to get your hopes up for this method or any other. Like a teacher told my little sister about crayons or something- "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!" :) Good luck!

We used it. Istuck to the method EXACTLy. I am a bit of a perfectionist and also a researcher. I took notes on everything and foolowed it to a T. The bbt deal was hard for me to get to work as my temp didn't seem to do what he said it would but everything else was right on the money, even the positions we made love in.

I say all of this because we wanted boy the first time and we got him! We did the same the second time, wanting another boy. We GOT him! I think the combo of the method and prayers for boys or healthy rehardless worked for us!

We used that method with both kids -- Not sure if it was the method or just great luck but both were what we tried for. My thought was that we wanted to have a healthy baby and both times didn't really care what we had but certainly had some preferences. So what was the harm in trying to sway the results if it was possible.

Here is what I did: I tracked my cycle for 6 months both times before we started trying. I am VERY regular so I pretty much knew when I was ovulating. For the first one we just had sex a few days before and the day I was going to ovulate and we had a girl (I did use the ovulation kit to confirm ovulation -- but really we had already had sex so it was just to make sure that I did indeed ovulate). The second time I used the ovulation kit to pinpoint ovulation and timed sex for the time of ovulation and we are having a boy next week ;-) Both times I got pregnant the very first month -- so regardless of whether it worked on swaying the gender -- it did seem to help us get pregnant right away ;-)

I will tell you though that timing sex that specifically made baby making some of the most nonromantic sex we ever had...LOL. Good luck!

Below is an answer about swaying in general that I posted to another post.
__________________________
Honestly, it is a 50/50 shot each time. Doing all this swaying may increase you chances by 1 or 2%. Of course, of all the people that try for a girl, 1/2 of them will tell you it 'worked' because they got a girl. But there is no way to tell if any swaying really worked or not. And think of all those with b/g twins....obviously it is not all timing or pH.

I had two boys. Tried like heck to get a girl (did all the supplements, timing, took clomid, used sun/moon signs, etc) and it was boy number three. I don't believe it works....seen too many people that have tried and failed. And it sets you up to think that this is your girl because you tried so hard for her....that is until your ultrasound.

The only 100% is using IVF with pgd (which we tried too, but didn't get pregnant).

Our fourth and final child was a girl....but with absolutely no swaying. it was an oops (cycles weird after IVF) and if you look back to timing and some swaying factors...it was a pretty good boy attempt. So my girl attempt gave me a boy....and a boy attempt gave me a girl.

I am sorry I am such a sourpuss over this. Some people make it seem so easy to have a girl...all you have to do is 'x, y, z'. But it simply is not true. If it was, do you think there would be gendercide in other countries? And the person who really figures it out would be one rich person!! Please do not invest a lot of time or energy into this, it could leave you heartbroken.

I also, don't want to be a sourpuss about this. However, science has proved their is no way to naturally sway the gender of your baby. SO many people will say, "I did (insert method here) and it worked!" The truth is, it didn't work. It only SEEMED like it did, because 50%, is an incredible odd to begin with. Few things in life, have such an amazing odd, of getting what you want. There is no fact, or true scientific basis behind any of these methods. Scientists believe, by tracking these methods, the results come out to the same 50/50 no matter what. If I told you, flip a coin like this, you will get heads, I did! Chances are, you're going to flip that coin and gets heads. Not because my method worked, because it's very easy to get heads, with a 50/50 chance.

Had 2 girls.. Decided to try 1 more time for the boy (of course just a healthy baby was the top priority) read howto choose your babies gender- followed the timing(used ovulation kit) didn't do temp, positions, caffeine for the hubby prior to, ect.. We now have a 6 month old baby boy! Not sure if any of it really influenced the gender or he was just a blessing! Good luck and just remember healthy is the main concern

With my first we did the Shettles method and tried for a boy. We were thrilled when found out it worked. So when we were ready to try for baby #2 obviously we tried for a girl. It didn't work. We got another boy but it was for the best. He is a blessing and whatever you end up with will be too. We have lots of boys in our family too. Good luck!

yes, it dit. I modified it alittle. I did not do the tempeture thing I got an ovulation kit and we danced every chance we got (every 24 hours) from the day that I stopped surfing the crimsen wave. and stopped dancing as soon as the test said with in 48 hrs you will ovulate. I also bnoticed that with every child the chinese calender predicted each childs sex xo for kicks I choise by the calender what month to conceive in. There is not much we can do to influense the sex of the baby but if how and when is the only thing I can do I did it.

HOWEVER, My friend did all of the same thing (except she did temp not test) and she had yet again another boy. My husbands family has not had issues having girls and her husbands side has not has a gilr in over 3 generations.

Sorry I know this was not much help, unfortunatly it is 50% 50% chance.
