My daughter is 13 months old. She doesn't really watch tv but she does like Elmo. My husband and I were thinking about taking her to Sesame Street Live this weekend but don't want to end up having to leave at intermission and waste the money. Anyone taken a child that age to something like that? How did it go?
I took my son when he was 18 months. He was mesmerized! No problems and well worth the money. It was also entertaining for me. But he also knew all the characters at that point - Sesame Street was the only thing he would watch. You might want to let her watch a couple episodes.
We took my son to see Sesame Street Live when he was 17 months old. He loved it. He was a little antsy and was passed between my husband and I a couple of times, but it still held his attention. There's so much going on. We stayed the whole time and we all 3 had a great time.
We went last year and LOVED IT!!! My son was 3 and my daughter was 9 months old and it kept their attention the whole time. This year we are going again because I have a lil Elmo fan too!! And I think me and hubby enjoyed it as much as the kids!! LOL. Have fun!!!
I don't know if I would go if it was just with a 13m old. Depending on where it is, and the seats you get, its a lot of kids cheering, standing, playing on stairs.
Has your daughter been to like Chuck E. Cheese or seen a clown? Do you know how she'll react to seeing a life size Elmo?
If you do go, take jackets it tends to be cold, and be prepared to have to leave early.

I took my young children to see Thw Wiggles Live and they were 3 and 1 1/2 and they were scared. They liked it very little. I am glad I took them for the memory of it, my then 3 year old now 7 will mention it every now and then but at the time was scared.
Does anybody know if there are any price specials for this show?
I took my daughter when she was about 20 mths old..........My daughter has a very short attintion span so we were worried about how well it would work out......she doesnt not like to stand around waiting and being unable todo as she please.............she luved every bit of it............she was wonderful the whole time the show was going on.............the only time we had problems was waiting for it to begin and during intermission becuz she was ready for more momo!!!! I even enjoyed the show............we took her to the when elmo grows up one...........it was great............hope yall chose to go and have a blast its wonderful!!!!
We took my daughters to see Elmo and my youngest was about 16months old. She did very well, she sat on my lap of course and we bought her popcorn and a drink and at intermission we walked around with her so she wasnt to antsy. Alot of the kids dance during the prorgram so she was entertained and so was my 2 year old. Good luck!
