Has anybody sold there stuff at a consignment store and been really pleased with what they got paid?? I have tons of baby girl clothes that I would like to sell and don't have time for a garage sale right now. I live in Kansas City KS. Thanks
The best luck I have had is at Children's Orchard in Olathe. It is in the strip mall by the AMC 30 theatres. They are super nice, and give you a decent amount for your stuff. They also have a great selection of things to purchase. Good Luck!
Once upon a child at Quivira& Shawnee Mission Parkway was generous. The have specific requirements about in season clothes,but they paid the best.
I took some clothes to Children's Orchard up North at I-29 & 64th street and was extremely dissappointed. I took two brand new Easter dresses only worn once were in mint condition a couple of other summer dresses and a swim suit they only gave me $7.00 for ALL of it. I had several tubs of clothes I was going to take up there but decided to give it to charity and use as a tax write off. I could have got alot more if I had a garage sale. It came down to they only gave me about $1.00 for each item. I know they probably turned around and sold the Easter dresses for at least $12-$15. I went back up there to see if I could find my dresses to see but didn't find them, they either already sold or they hadn't put them out yet. Other Easter dresses similar to the ones I took up there were marked for approx. $12-$15. Let's just say I got took. I will never do it again. Good Luck J. C
Do not sell to Children's Orchard. I took a couple bags in with no stains, new outfits and they didn't want them. Don't waste your time there.
we had a garage sell with some clothing items never worn people didnt want to give $1.00 for, that was our first and last garage sell, we would rather give to charity, the churches and veterans are always seeking donations
