I need a playgroup. I have an 18 month old boy that requires alot of attention. He needs interaction that I can't offer him all the time. He needs time with kids his age, otherwise he develops a violent streak because he's tired of not being allowed to do anything. There are days that I'm sure all he hears is No, Don't, and Stop. I want somewhere to go with him where he can play and be rambunctious; and I'm hoping it will deminish his bad behavior. I've joined a couple mom groups quite a while back that reside in Temecula, but all the moms were much older than me; so even though there were kids for Mike to play with, I sat kind of lonely on my own. I'm hoping to find a group of moms in there 20's with young toddlers in the Fallbrook area.
There are “meetup” groups that you can join. They are filled with all ages of moms and they are very active. You can find them on the web. I haven’t found one that fits me just yet but they are worth a try. I’m 39 with a 13 month old daughter and working part time. I understand how hard it is not to have some type of toddler time for your baby. My little one gets aggravated too.
Just joined this today and im looking for Playmate(s) in Fallbrook. ive lived here for 2 years and the only playmate my 3 year old son has is a 4 year old boy and he picks on him and they argue because they like the same spiderman toys but hes better with younger boys ive taken him to oceanside beach park and he seems to do better with younger boys than boys his age. anyway im 23 24 in July let me know if your interested good luck
Hi Ali, my name is M.. I'm 23 also and I have an almost 16 month old daughter named Sophie. We belong to 2 playgroups that meet at all different times to fit your scedule. It's nice because there are moms of all ages in them. If you go to meetup.com look for a group called Oceanside(north county San Diego) Parents, or for Northern San Diego County Parents. They are free to join, and have tons of activities to choose from, like storytimes and park days. Also, have you looked on Cafemom.com? It's similar to myspace, only its all moms. You can get advise and meet new friends too. I love it! Also, If you ever want to get together, I live in vista. I have mornings off, as well as most Tuesdays and weekends. Hi, I undestand how you feel. I live in Oceanside on base. I dont know if that is too far, but I have 2 boys, ages 3 yrs and 21 months. I am 25. My boys get the same way when they dont get out and around other kids. and they can be pretty rough sometimes. My email is ____@____.com if its not too far for you.
