Can anyone recommend a favorite store or brand? I'm looking to buy business professional pants that are washer/dryer friendly on normal cycles and do not need ironing. Also I need them available in petite sizes and styles that can be matched with anything.

What can I do next?

hey Megan.. I'm 5'3..and wear Petites too.. you could try New York and Company..at algonquin commons or the regular mall.. they have petites..short lengths.. and suits and things..
have a wonderful holiday! I would also like to see what other people say too! I'm always looking for good brands.. usually wind up going to Kohls or bass outlet at Huntley for khakis or cords..

I love Ann Taylor Loft and Forth & Towne. The Loft carries petites for sure, and The original prices at both stores comparable to each other though a little high, but they have great sales. Sign up online for coupons to both. The stores are next to each other at Old Orchard in Skokie. Good luck!

I also need petite sizes and I always have horrible luck at Kohl's. Do you have a Maurice's by you? Great pants. Dress pants, jeans or khaki's. Good luck!

i would say go to New York and Company, they have a great selection of pants that can dress up or even dress down. They have petite sizes also and you usually can find some great sales at the store. i hope this helps a little bit

I'm not sure about the petite sizing but I've always found Gap and INC (Macy's) to be good value. If you get them drycleaned every 3rd time or so, cuts down on the ironing and they last longer.
I think LandsEnd is doing some machine washable ones now but I haven't tried them yet.
cheers

Check out Kohl's and New York and company, I agree that even if they are washable, you should still get them dry cleaned like once a month so they maintain there shape.

I am a big fan of The Limited pants. They are a bit expensive, but watch for sales. I know they recently were on sale for 40% off. They do come in small sizes, and short/regular/tall lengths. I usually wash them and dry them for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out, and finish drying them on a drying rack.
