I am seeking a support group for parents of children with autism. Preferably near KC Metro area. I have a 9 year old who was diagnosed at 3 years old. Thanks! :0)

My church, Legacy Christian Church, has a Parent's Night Out for special needs kids. And it's free. I believe it's the first Saturday night of each month. The lady who runs it has a son with autism, so she's a wealth of information on support groups, etc. I think you can contact her through the church's website (LCC.org)
The church also has a lot of great Bible Studies and support groups for single moms.
