My mother-in-law was a huge help with our recent move and I wanted to give her a Spa gift certificate as a thank-you. I have a budget of $150 and I have been looking at Zenity Spa in Allen and Adriatica Day Spa in McKinney. Has anybody been to either of these spas? I wanted to send my mother-in-law to a peaceful place pretty near our home in West Allen where she will probably come to relax after her treatments. I am open to other spas as well. Ideally, I would like her to have a massage, facial and mani/pedi.

You could always give her a spafinder.com gift certificate. Then she can have fun choosing it herself.

pass on Adriatica...not so professional or elegant. It is a bit more expensive however Solare Day Spa in Frisco is superb...I used to work for Canyon Ranch Spa...in my opinion this is one of the best day spas around!

My husband and I went to the Face and Body Spa in Frisco (it's off 121, not far) and we both really enjoyed it. We had the hot rock massage and also facials. I thought it was a really relaxing treat.
