i don't know where you are located but in my area of montgomery tx we have a lady who has a embroidery store who also does quilting. she has done one quilt for my mother and did an awesome job. you may want to look into something like that or ask around the older ladies at your church.

S., I am also from Magnolia. I think I remember seeing a quilting group that meets periodically in the section of the newspaper that says Upcoming Events. I either saw it in the Potpourri or the Tribune.

Good Luck,
L.

Hi S., You should be able to find someone thru one of the fabric or quilt shops in Conroe. Checking with the churches is also a good idea. I quilt but I'm in La Porte. My question is why don't you quilt it your self? I know that sounds rather daunting if you've never done it before but it's not. The ladies at your favorite fabric store will be happy to help you get started. You can use a hoop and work in your lap, if you don't have the space for a frame or don't want to invest in one. The website 'About.com' has a really good section on quilting with lots of ideas and resources. The hardest part is jumping in and getting your feet wet the first time.
If you want to try quilting before trying a bed sized quilt, Make some throw pillows. you can use the different quiltblock patterns for the pillow top and then quilt it before you put the pillow together. (Great gifts, by the way)
Give it a try and remember that I'm here if you need any help, just need to talk or whatever...Good Luck..S. C

About me: hand quilter for 10-12 yrs, also do hand and machine embroidery. Would get a lot more done if this computer would crash !!!!!!!
