Seeking Some Help for Va.Beach Area

We use Tidewater Children's Associates. They have like 3 offices. The doctor we see is Scott Nottingham. They are in the phone book. Have you thought about The Jumping Monkey? They do weeknight parties and stuff like that. Also weekends. If you're concerned about money, why not do a slumber party for like 4-5 of her friends? Maybe even have a party for everyone else before and those girls stay afterward. That's what we did growing up and loved it! Hope you can figure something out!

My daughters pediatritian is great although she is at the age of hating the doctors office i think that her doctor is great. She is nice, caring, calms my daughter down nice and if i need to go that day cause she is sick i always have gotten her in. She does to Diagnostic Pediatrics. It is in Norfolk though. Its through CHKD.

V., the best pediatric dentist is Dr. Christopher Hamlin in Norfolk (if you don't mind a drive). She is the best. My 10 year old daughter is going for a cleaning today and she is so excited. she used to cry before going to the dentist. I hope this helps.

I can't help with the birthday party but I can recommend a pediatric group. I have 14 month old twin boys and we use Virginia Beach Pediatrics, and especially recommend Dr. Marianne Springer, although every doctor we have seen there has been wonderful! Dr. Springer really listens and will tell you the text book answer plus the real-world answer, which you probably already know aren't always the same thing! You'll probably want to check to make sure they take your insurance, give them a call at ###-###-####. They are located on First Colonial Road.

I am not sure what insurance carrier you have, but as far as a dentist I go to Doctor Earnest Colter on First Colonial Rd. I have been going to him since I was two (so 26 years now) and I love him.
As far as the pediatricians I use Dr. Batten from Nimmo Pediatrics. Both of my boys go to him and he is really great. He is funny and always make my 3 year old laugh.
Now for the party, I know how it feels cuz my birthday is a New Years Day, but the only thing I can suggest is maybe the weekend before or the weekend after if you don't hava to work. Maybe try a sleep over for a few girls, or if she likes bowling maybe take her and a couple of kids from school to the bowling alley.

Honestly, I can't give any advice on a good dentist being that I just got into it with my present dentist and I'm looking for a new one myself. Nor can I help with the Pediatrician because we got to a military doctor.

But I can help with the party situation. I teach belly dancing at a studio and we do Little Arabian Princess Parties where all you have to do is show up. We supply the cake, goodie bags, entertainment, set up and clean up, a craft, story and loads of fun. You can have up to 15 children (boys also if you want) including the Birthday Princess. All the attendants get a tiara (since we are all princesses that day) and crowns for the boys, a craft, and a great goodie bag. I also help with the parties and I'm also having a party for my daughter this Saturday. My other daughter had a party last year on her birthday. It's a family friendly place and provides lots of fun.... Best of all, you don't have to do anything. We do parties on Saturdays and Sundays so you can plan it on a weekend you don't have to work.
