I just moved to Garland and live near 1st and Miller. There are 3 or 4 homes that are for rent on Miller between 1st and Dairy Street. They are less, I know and nice and neat, just older. but clean. Good luck!

There are usually a couple of duplexes in my area for rent. We live in an area called "Schreiber Estates" which is a neighborhood of a few of streets of duplexes & more streets of regular houses. We're very close to 190, at Crist and Apollo. I'll be glad to give you more specific directions if you fancy a drive around the neighborhood to check it out. I know of two for rent at the moment.
It's a very quiet, nice area; the houses/duplexes are kept up well. They've all got nice sized backyards with wooden fences & carports in the alley. I'm not sure how much the duplexes rent for but I can't think they'd be over $900, perhaps less. I believe they're all 2 bedrooms on one side, 3 on the other & two bathrooms. They're about 1300 square feet.
