I have just moved to the Las Sendas area in East Mesa and have a 3-year old that is ready for preschool. If anyone has any information good, bad, or indifferent, please respond. I have heard good things about Noah's Ark and the Mesa Public Schools. Does anyone know about the HeadStart program?

What can I do next?

Hey! I used to teach preschool at Red Mt. United Methodist off of Power, just north of Baseline. It's been a little while since I was there and I know a lot has changed but it was (and hopefully stil is) a fantastic preschool.

Hi S.,

I have lived in Las Sendas for over 10 years and have had both my children attend preschool in the area. My children attended "Red Mountain Montessori" and "Desert Shadows Montessori" (both very good schools). If you would like a Christian influence, there are "The Preschool" at Red Mountain United Methodist Church and "Love of Christ Preschool" at Love of Christ Church. I've heard both of these churches offer wonderful programs.

Best of luck to you! :)

Hi S.,
My children have attended the First Presbyterian Church Preschool in Mesa.(University and Mesa Drive) This is such an amazining little preschool that has some very loving teachers. The director has been there for over 22 years and some of the teachers are the same ones my 11 year old son had. They have great activities and they are not terribly expensive. Some families are from the neighborhood and some even drive from queen creek. It is a hidden treasure. Check them out. I know LOTS of schools are closing but this preschool is still doing well. Hope this helps- the # is ###-###-#### and ask for the preschol.
